Description
MLD therapy is a light pressure technique that focuses on moving fluid through the lymphatic system, which can assist in alleviating edema, post surgical edema, and is also great for general relaxation and parasympathetic nervous system response. The lymphatic system is the body’s fluid filtration that returns filtered lymph back to the circulatory system. It is responsible for filtering excess long chain fatty acids, proteins, and cellular waste that the circulatory system cannot filter.
