Private Sound Therapy Session
Description
Sound Immersion Therapy is wonderful for stress relief, and to create a safe environment for clients to relax, connect with their emotions, and soothe their nervous system in a way that allows time and space for healing in the body. We have two primary nervous system states: sympathetic, and parasympathetic. Sympathetic nervous system state is a state of fight/flight/freeze. We live in a world that is increasingly stressful and fast paced. This can leave us feeling fatigued, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or burned out. Parasympathetic nervous system state is associated with a relaxed state aka "rest and digest state." When we are in parasympathetic nervous system states, we are able to improve our digestion, sleep patterns, and overall wellbeing. Using various instruments, Sound Immersion Therapy helps to guide us into a relaxed state. Crystal singing bowls, harps, drums, chimes, and other instruments will guide you towards a more parasympathetic state. Private sessions can be either a 1-1 session, or a private group session for up to 4 people. Please give advanced notice if this is a private group class.
